Hello fellow friends, am delighted to finally post my achievement 6 task on understanding curation and community. Much thanks to @njaywan and @blessingkasabe for their support.

how voting and curation work in steemit?

Curation; is the reward you earn from voting a content. With this one can say that curation and voting is interdependent, where voting is the basic function to reward thus curation. Voting on posts in steemit platform is more or less like any social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and others. One can cast his or her vote in steemit platform at the bottom of the post, the Green arrow pointing top is for Upvote and the Red arrow pointing down is for the Downvote, but i will advise you to vote wisely;

Because every post you upvote will affect your voting mana, since every 100% Vote you cast will deduct 2% of your voting mana. But the interesting
Part is that it recharges with 20% every day. So i advise you vote atleast five times daily is pretty good, because the more you vote the less influence your vote will become, but you can check up your voting mana on steemworld.org.

Since am a new user i can only vote at 100% strength, however once i reached at 500% steem power, i will see a vote slider when i vote. The slider will lets me change the strength of my vote, but i can adjust it based on how much i will like each post and how many times i want to vote each day.

The curation reward is bit easy to understand. Because the distributing of the rewards is 50% payout goes to the author of the post and 50% goes to the curator.

What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

This the display of the 50% that the curator receives during the first 5 minutes is calculated, linearly based on the time the vote is cast.

Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

The steem blockchain requires a group of people who create blocks and uses a consensus method called Delegated Proof of Stake, and anyone who is willing to contribute to the Blockchain may become a Witness, however they must be selected through votes made by the Steemit Community. The people who are delegated to create blocks are referred to as witnesses. But my view is to vote for @justyy who designed Steemyy.com, and @steemchiller who also designed SteemWorld.org, this because these steem tools are used in daily steem blogging.

Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

There are numerous communities that I have joined in steemit, In which the members post good content. I had also went through some other communities, as mentioned earlier by @cryptokannon in her post.

Project Hope	I want to learn more about cryptocurrency
