Hello fellow friends, today i'm going to present my achievement 4 which centered on applying markdowns.

Markdown is a lightweight markup syntax which allows you write and read easily with plain text formatting. Markdown uses characters that many of us are familiar such as # * and _.
It makes editing simpler since its much readable as a plain text

HOW IT WORKS

Headings

It helps show the structure of your port and help quide the eyes of the reader.
For headings, you can use the pound sign # followed by the words. Note.. As the number of hashtag symbol # increases the headlines size decreases. eg

headline 3

Emphasis ( bold, italics)

For both, you will need to use the asterisk * or underscore _
To get italicized text you have to place one asterisk * before and after the text. Eg love life
While to get a bold text you need to place two ** before and after the text. Eg this is a bold text.

Block quotes

while writing, we often need to write a quote, a phrase that someone said or write, that is when we use the right angle bracket symbol > in front of the sentence
Eg

" To forgive is divine "

Images

You can align your images at the center, at the left or right side by following this pattern.

Left < div class= " pull-left" > at the end you put < /div >
Right < div class = "pull-right"> at the end you put< /div>
Center < center > at the end you put

Links

When we add a link, it is automatically recognized and its clickable
Eg
Https://steemit.com/@Osolife
But to hide a link we add ( )
Eg
_( Https://steemit.com/@osolife )

There are many more markup syntax but this is all i can present now.
