I address this time after seeing achievement 2 approved, the issue that will be addressed this time is of great importance for all of us in this virtual world, since the steemit platform has a series of guidelines or rules that we must comply with when making some publications, the contents must be unique and original.

Next I am going to make a brief explanation about:

• WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

The dictionary describes it as plagiarizing.

It can also be explained as the use of someone else's idea without authorization.

The use of an image without authorization can also be considered plagiarism.

There are many things that can be considered plagiarism such as taking a person by force and asking for ransom for them that can be considered plagiarism.

In my personal criteria, I understand plagiarism as the theft or improper use of any idea or resource without acknowledging its original source.

It is very important to recognize the work of others, cite the sources of the origin of the content that you use that does not belong to you, this allows you to give the essence of originality to your work and at the same time respect the work of others.

what should we do to avoid plagiarism? 🤔

Very easy, simply to avoid committing plagiarism in our publications we must CITE the sources of the content that we use and that is not ours.

In this post I present several examples of how to do it:

Picture quote.

The cover image used for this publication has an example of how to make an image appointment, since it was edited by me but the original base comes from Pixabay (website to download free images), so at check in the legend you will find the quote where I simply describe the source from where I got the image by placing the link.

An example of how to make a textual quote is in the definition that I described previously of plagiarism, if you detail that paragraph you will notice that the text is written in quotation marks which indicates that it does not belong to me, that is, it was extracted from another source and although I indicate that it comes I must complement it by placing the link of the source so that my readers can have access to that original idea.

Create good content

Keeping your blog active with original, quality and plagiarism-free publications will open the way to a wonderful future in Steemit, this does not mean that you should publish every day, there is no use having a blog full of publications with content that do not contribute anything to the platform, it is better to take the time to generate good publications that give you recopublications that give you recognition and at the same time the opportunity to obtain rewards.
