INTRODUCTION*
Am here again to write on my Achievement 2 Task sit tight as unfold to you all the truth about the Basic security on steem.
what is security?
Security in a lay man understanding means the act of caring and protecting of valuables in an organized manner.
HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR kEYS ON Steem?
Yes I have retrieve them.
Do you know each of rhese keys functions and Restrictions?
Yes but first . let me mention the keys
1* Posting key
2* Active key
3* owner key
4* Memo key
5* Master key
posting key is use for voting, comment, posting, upvote, Resteem, follow and mute others account.
Active key -this key is used for important things liketransfering funds, powering up/down transactions, converting steem dollars, voting
Owner key -is used when needed, it a very powerful key because ot can changekey account including the owner key. This key needa to be stored offline and used when needed.
Memo key- This key is used for encrypting and disencrypring memos when transfering funds
Master key- This key is used to genarate all other keys including the owners key, it is mostly used when recovering an account.
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Master password is a key that you can use to generate every other keys in your steemit accout, so with this ringing in my mind I will not like to joke with it.
Answer= I copied my master password to my diary kept in my house where no one can imagine having kept it there am sure it is safe and secured.
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Answer = yes I can transfer steem token to my fellow steem user by following this steps. Logged into my wallet using my username and active key, click on the small arrow besides my steem dollar balance then select transfer after that click on the inverted arrow and it showed up where to transfer to recipient, then confirm it with this procedures a transfer steem token is done. You see the evidence below 👇
Do you know how to power up your steem?
Anawer= Having done power up with my mentor @chichieze before i can boldly say yes , steem is a liquid form and can be powered up to continue building a steem power, just enter the desired amount to power up proceed to confirm the amount by doing so your power up is done successfully.
