Basic security on steemit

While signing up in steemit, i was given a number of keys which are four in number. This keys were given in a pdf file which I downloaded and knowing the importance of these keys, after downloading i saved them in the files in my phone, made screenshots of each key and kept in my gallery. I also wrote them down on a paper and kept among my documents while still planning to hard copies of them. With all this i know my keys are secured enough.

Do you know the functions of each key??

I do know the functions of each key. From the best of my knowledge in steemit, when u sign up for an account, you are given a number of keys which are:

THE POSTING KEY
Posting key is used to log in to your account. It is used to post, comment, edit, vote and share posts. It also allows steemians to follow or mute accounts

ACTIVE KEY
this key is used for monetary and wallet related issues. The key is meant for transferring tokens, power steem up or down.

OWNER KEY
This key is very vital because it is used to change any other key. So this key needs to be jealously kept offline
MEMO KEY
Used for sending and viewing encrypted messages.

MASTER PASSWORD
This one is the most important key. This password is used to access all other keys. It is through this key that we obtained all the other keys during signing up. So this key needs not to be joked with because if someone gets access to it, you are finish because the person can do away with your account and every token in it. 🙆🙆

TRON PUBLIC KEY
This key is used to make public transfers so it's public as the name goes.

TRON PRIVATE KEY
It is used for signing transactions for tron such as transferring tokens, freezing and voting.

How do you plan to save your master password??

It has been downloaded from PDF, written in a paper and kept in a safe place inside my important documents while planning to print it.

Do you know about the transfer of steem token to another account??
Yes i knows. These are the steps alongside photos for better understanding

1)Go to ur steem wallet

1. Click on your steem tokens and then click transfer

1. Enter steem user account, the amount, then click next

1. this requires active key to use it to go next. From here your tokens will be transferred. Click ok

Do you know how to power up your account??
Yes i can do it and here are the steps illustrated with photos
1)go to wallet

2)click steem and click power up

3)write the amount u intend to power up and click power up

4)click okay to confirm vesting

From there ur account will be powered up
