IAchievement 2 @ngobaby Task: basic security on steemit

INTRODUCTION
Good day everyone, hope you all are having a wonderful day. I am @ngobaby and this is my achievement 2 post on steemit.

Question 1
Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Answer
Yes I have retrieved all my keys and have securely stored them with the help of @focusnow.

Question 2
Do you Know the functions and restrictions of these keys?

Answer
Yes I do ,let me explain them one after the other starting with the posting key.
Posting key: The posting key is used for social networking actions. It's functions include;
1.. publishing a post
2.. editing a post
3..upvoting or downvoting
4..resteeming contents
5.. follow people
6..mute accounts.
Restrictions: The posting key cannot be used to perform monetary actions such as transfer or exchange of token ,steem power up or down e.t.c

Active key: The active key has additional permission and it is more sensitive than the Posting key. It is used to perform wallet related actions. With this key,one can access your wallet and do away with your tokens to avoid this ,the active key should be secured safely and should not be given out . It's functions include;
1.. Transfer of tokens
2.. Create a user
3..Power STEEM up or down
4..Vote for witnesses
5.. Conversion of SBD
6..Publish a witness price feed.
Restrictions:The active key can only be used for the above listed wallet related actions.

Owner key: The owner key is required to change other keys and also for account recovery.
Functions;
1..Declining voting rights
2.. Account recovery
3..Reset all keys
Restrictions: The owner key cannot serve or perform the actions of other keys and it cannot be used to derive other keys.

Memo key: The memo key serves only the following functions;
1.. Sending an encrypted message
2..Decrypting an encrypted message.

Master password:The master password is the most sensitive ,it is used to derive all keys .It has similar function with the owner key because it can also be used to reset all keys.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password

Answer
Already I have stored it offline but I'll also print it and secure it safely.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account

Answer
Yes this is done by clicking the arrow next to the number of steem found in the wallet a dropdown box appears, select transfer then enter the username of the recipient and the amount you want to transfer a memo maybe required then click on "next" and "ok" to confirm the transfer. See illustration with diagram below 👇

as shown in the image above, besides the steem number which is 0.854 there is an arrow pointing down , you'll click on it after logging into your steemit wallet.

enter the recipient's user name in the bar tittled "To" also the amount of steem token you want to transfer and memo if need be and click on "next"

Finally click on "ok" to confirm the transfer.

Final question
Do you know how to power up your steem

Answer: yes it takes the Same process with transfer of tokens,but this time after clicking the arrow beside the STEEM number , select power up from the dropdown box,enter the amount of steem you want to power up and click on "power up"
