Hello friend, Salim is my name, first of all I will like to thank @cryptokannon,@yohan2on,
@FutureStock, @roadofrich and everyone. All of you actually helped me to understand and also get to know about steemit.This is my final achievement on the Newcomer's Communities.
In this post, I will like to help you understand more about curation and community.
Curation is actually earned from voting, this is when users vote for this desired posts on different communities. It is just like social media platforms like, Instagram, Facebook, and even Twitter. Right below the post of a user, you will see two small coloured arrows green and red. Choose any of them to vote.
In the green arrow, when you click or tap on it. The whole circle turns green which means you have upvoted for that person but when you click on the red arrow, you have downvoted the person's post.
But mind you, the more votes you cast the lesser your voting Mana percentage will be. Everyone has a voting Mana of 100% so if you cast a vote, your voting Mana can decrease to let say 96%. So guy vote with caution.
In order to know your remaining voting mana, you should use visit the site Steemscan and Steemworld which you just create your account to know more about your account. The distributing of the rewards is such a way that 50% of it goes to the author of either post/comment and 50% goes to the curator.
Witnesses of Steemit
Witnesses are selected by the community to produce blocks for the steem blockchain and also help protect the company from hackers.
