LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO STEEMIT SAFETY.
Greetings from Baseru to all our steemian team. This is my Achievement 2 task. So I think it will be very important to highlight safety and why you learn about steemit safety.
As you already know we are living in a digital world wherein data is of high importance, so everyone with important data has an interest to protect it from hackers and out laws who could be interested in it and decide to acquire it via illegal means. Thus every one must learn how to protect their data such that only the owner can access it.

Steemit Basic Security

It will be important for me to let you know how steemit protection works. During steemit account creation, steemit sends you a 58-digit code, You have to save this code in secured storage of your choice. If some one or any third party gets this code your account becomes insecure because they can gain control of it. Always keep your password, keys and codes secured to avoid loss of funds.

Keys to keep safe.

THE MASTER PASSWORD, PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY, PRIVATE OWNER KEY, PRIVATE POSTING KEY, MEMO KEY and TRON PRIVATE KEY.

How Do We Use These Keys On Steemit?

THE MASTER PASSWORD.
This password is used to generate all other keys, the only time you want to use this password is during account recovery.

PRIVATE POSTING KEY
Login with this key for your daily activities like posting, commenting, editing, voting, resteeming, and following or muting other accounts. If you login with this key you can not perform transactions from your steemit walkte.

PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY
If you login with this key you will be able to perform transactions in your steemit wallet like powering up, powering down, transfer of steen, SBD OR TRX,trade etc. Note: never login third party app or give this key to any one as they could steal all your funds if they have this key.

PRIVATE OWNER KEY
This key is the most powerful key, it can be use to change any other keys, it is mostly used during account recovery. It is recommended to store this key offline.

PRIVATE MEMOS KEY
This key is used for decryption and encryption of memos during funds transfers

TRON PRIVATE KEY
The tron key is used for confirming transactions on Tron such as freezing and voting and also transferring tokens

  After creating my account I stored my master Password in a secured location I will not mention here for security reasons. After reading a post on safety I still went on to reinforce the safety of my master password by adding a number of storages and getting it printed on a hard copy which I still stored in a location i would not tell my fellow steemians for security reasons again. I hope at this point you should understand how important this password is to the owner.

    Being on steemit for some time now I have learnt a lot including how to perform transactions in the steemit wallet like powering up or down, transferring steem, SBD and TRX as explained and demonstrated below.

1- Open your wallet then click on balance,then Transfer.

2- Enter the name of account in which you want to transfer steem token, your amount and at last your active key and now you are done.

  It equally easy to power up using your SP(steem power) using your balance.

1- Click on balance from the dropdown click on power up
2- Enter the amount to you will like to power up with.
3- Comform the transaction with your active key and it done. As easy as that.

     For powering down its a similar process.

1- Check under STEEMPOWER section now click on it, from the drop down select power down.
2- Enter the amount to you will like to power down with.
3- Comform the transaction with your active key and it done.
