Achievement 4 task: Applying Markdown

My First Dog Chase Experience
During my secondary school days, in my class then, there's this my classmate who is always boasting of his little achievement, in that he knows everyone's house but not even one of us knows his. Whenever issues of 'Do you know my house' arises, he's always the winner.
One faithful Sunday afternoon while I , my parents and siblings were returning from church, I saw him also walking home with his elder brother. It seems they were also returning from church ( what a coincidence) I waved him from the car but he didn't see me so I decided to be calm and watch if his house was around.
Luckily, my taught was right. they diverted to one house with black gate and entered in inside. (Ooh how happy I was that moment). I nodded gladly and could no longer wait to shock him with an unexpected visit And set the record in my class.
Later the evening, I took permission from my parents to go see a friend due to it was weekend, they permitted me.
I matched straight to his house without delay but on getting to the gate, I felt something arguing within me one saying " Knock on the gate before you go in" and other saying " don't knock, just surprise him".
Finally, I decided to surprise him so I entered the compound without knocking on the gate.
on getting to the building where they live, which was a distant from the gate, I heard a deep strange and violent sound. I turned immediately to know where the sound comes from knowing fully well that I was in trouble, Jeez it's a giant dog!
Since my childhood, I've always hated dogs for no reason and always praying never to have an encounter with them.
I froze for some seconds calculating fast the next action to take. I ran with almost the speed of light to the gate but bad luck ( it's jam lock) I tried unlocking but it refused. my goodness!
I was immediately soaked with sweat's and almost collapsed there due to tension and fear.
I managed to pick courage and ran towards the back-yard before I missed steps
and fell. at this point, I saw my death coming. I regretted going to his house at first place,
I remembered what mum usually use to tell us
"Always listen to your heart"
and blamed myself for not obeying the first voice before I barged inside.
I was still on the floor there shouting and vibrating like an old Nokia phone waiting for my death.
Suddenly, I heard some people laughing crazily. I opened my eyes already filled with tears and saw the dog staring at me with my friend and his siblings laughing very hard.
What is happening? I asked myself , why did it not bite me?, Is this supposed to be funny?
When I walked up to them, they were consoling me and laughing at the same time. I told them the story and they even laughed harder the more I said my story.
lastly, I made friend with the dog and my friend escort me back home.
