Achievement 2 Task|| Basis steem security by @mirabelify

Good morning and happy Sunday to you all... Am happy to be making my achievement 2 post today after a long while of completing my first task. For quite a while now I've been learning about some important terms in the steemit platform and one of them is security.

So today, I will blogging about the importance of security in the steemit platform. Every user is entitled to a key once registered and a wallet as well and it is his sole responsibility to safekeep his wallet. There are many steps a user should embrace in other not to lose his dividends in steemit platform.

What is security?

Security in steemit is the art of keeping once account ones key in steemit. Every key a user is entitled to in steemit is off one importance or the other and preserving this key is totally encouraged as it is equivalent to preserving ones earning. Securing ones key or account simply means securing it from harm or hackers.

Once a user Loses his keys, he automatically losses his earning no matter how big it is. So every user is advised to employ many means as possible to keep his account details secret and personal to avoid hackers invading his account.

Types of keys in steemit

• Active key
• Private owner key
• Private posting key
• Memo key
• Master password.

Active key
This key is basically of great importance when there is need to transfer tokens to another user on steemit. The active key is also required when the user wants to either power up or power down his steem earnings.

Private owner key
When a user Loses his, private owner key is used to remedy the list by recovering the account within the space of 30days

Private posting key
With the private posting key the user can comment, reply, vote and even post on his blog.

Memo key
This key is mostly employed when there is to decrypt and encrypt memo.

How do you plan to keep your master password?
Ans: By writing it down on my diary and saving it as draft message on my email account.

Question number 4
Do you Know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Ans: yes, I do.

First of all click on Steem and then transfer and then select the username you want to transfer the token to and the amount you want to transfer and then click on Next.

Click on power up and then select the number of steem you want to power up and complete your transaction.

That is all about about security in steemit and am sure I did diligence to it.
