Steemit, a social media platform that is decentralized and built on the Steem Blockchain, is Steemit. Steemit's security system is one of its most important features. It protects user accounts and prevents unauthorized access to funds. This blog post will provide information on how to add Steem Power (SP) to your Steemit account.

To secure your Steemit account, you will need to use four types of keys:

1. The Owner key
   2.The Active key
   3.posting key and
   4.Memo key.

• The Owner Key: is the most important key to a Steemit Account. It grants you complete control over your account's
  history and assets. It is important to keep the private owner key secret as anyone who has access to it can make
  changes to your account, such as transferring funds or changing account settings.
  

• The Active Key: This key has additional permissions that allow sensitive monetary operations such as token exchange
  and transfer. Your Active key may be used to authenticate while performing a wallet-related transaction. Anyone with
  access to your Active key can steal your tokens. Therefore, only trust apps should have your Active Key. Do not lose
  tokens by storing this key securely.
  

• The Posting Key: This key can be used for social networking operations like commenting, voting, and posting. This key
  is restricted and cannot be used to make monetary transactions. This key cannot be used to make money. This key can
  log into other social networks such as Steemit and Busy. This key should be kept safe.
  

• Memo Key: The Memo Key is unique. The Memo Key is limited to encrypting and decrypting private messages sent
  through the blockchain. This could be a powerful feature in the future. To decrypt personal communications you have
  received, it is important to use the Memo Key with the minimum authority.
  

Important to remember that these keys are not the only ones available. There are also "public" keys to each of them. These public keys can be shared with others, but they do not allow access to your account nor permit anyone to make changes. It is better to keep your public keys private if you require more organization and clarity.

Steem Power (SP) Add System:
Steem Power (SP) measures the influence and reputation an account has on Steemit. An account's Steem Power measures how influential and popular it is on Steemit. It also determines how much weight the account has in votes and how significant that influence will be to the platform. You can add Steem Power to your account in many ways:

*Powering up: This is a way to increase Steem Power in your account by "powering down" STEEM tokens. You can power up STEEM to convert them into SP. SP is usually locked in your account for 13 weeks. You can reverse this process by "powering down," which will allow you to convert your SP into STEEM after a 13-week wait period. Here are the steps to power up Steem.

*Click on the "Wallet tab" in the top menu to access your profile and Steemit wallet.

Click on the "STEEM" tab to the right of the page. There, you will see the button "Power Up."

In the "Amount" column, enter the Steem amount you want to use.
To start the power-up process, click the "Power Up" button

You must enter your activation or owner key to complete the transaction.

Transfer Steem: You can also add Steem Power from another account. The history of the SP delegated to another version is retained, but the recipient account can vote and earn rewards. The original owner can "undelegated" delegated SP at any time. You will need the Steemit wallet to transfer Steem Power or Steem Steem (SP) to the Steemit platform. This tutorial will show you how to share Steem Power (SP) or Steem Steem power.

Go to your profile and the Steemit wallet by clicking on the "Wallet" tab in the top menu.

To do that you have to must log in your wallet
Click on the "STEEM" tab to the right of the page. There will be the "Transfer” button.

Enter the username or account number of the person to whom you wish to send the Steem/SP in the "To" section.
You can enter the Steem/SP amount you wish to send in the "Amount" field. The drop-down menu beside the "Amount" field allows you to specify the currency, such as STEEM or SP.
You can also enter an optional message in the "Memo" field to be included with the transfer.
To initiate the transfer, click the "Next" button.

To complete the transaction, you will be asked to enter your activation or owner key, depending on how much Steem or SP is being transferred.

To buy Steem Power: Steem Power can be purchased on the open market by Steemit users or through cryptocurrency exchanges.
The security system on Steemit was designed to protect user accounts and prevent unauthorized access to funds. It works with four keys: owner key, activation, posting, and memo keys. These keys should not be shared. You can add Steem Power to your account by powering up STEEM tokens or delegating SP from another account.

As I have carefully studied and described the functions of my Steemit keys and their restrictions, I now have achievement 2. My keys are safe and secure.
