ABOUT SECURITY

Security is the act of keep your valuable save in other to avoid every dangerous effect on them. Steamit is a valuable platform that is why we all creat account in steamit and when I do not apply the wisdom of security in it it is possible to loose everything you have work.

ESSENTIAL THING TO KEEP SAVE IN STEAMIT PLATFORM

We all know that password is one of the essential thing that we have when creating an account in any platform, which steamit is one of the platform and
One thing about steamit is that it is very secure to work with. Now we have to know that steamit gives you the best by generating a passwords which is not know by any body but you.

This password can't be recovered by steamit that is the main reason why you should keep your passwords save and prevent it been known by any body. Bear it in mind if anyone knows your passwords he or she can manipulate your dashboard on like stealing your wallet made (essential). Try as much as you can to keep your passwords save to prevent you loosing your account.

HOW CAN I KEEP MY PASSWORDS SAVE

We have many ways to keep a password save .

Firstly: Don't disclose it to anyone.
Please do not send your password to any one. This is the simplest way to save your passwords. By disclosing it, it is assume that you have the same access to your account with whosoever you disclose your passwords to and they can manipulate them so as you.

Secondly: write it out in a paper and keep it save.

You can as well write out your passwords or print it out so as to keep it in a save place because damage can cut you up by your electronic damage when you save it in your phone, laptop or whatever gadget you are using.

Save it in you Gmail (BEST RECOMMEND)

I actually recommend this as the best way you can save your steamit passwords. Why? Gmail is a cloud storage application which save it's information in cloud and the sweat thing about Gmail is that you can access it any where you are and your information can be recovered when you lose it.

By now you all have known how you can save keep your passwords and private keys save.

We have to tell you more or detail you more information about this private key and passwords.

PRIVATE KEYS

Private key is the key that is use for authorizing transactions. In a nutshell, is a key that is designed to be use for monetary transactions such as; sending STEEM to another user you must use your private key to authorize the transfer.

POSTING KEY:

It is been required before you can get access to steamit.com, which means is use to login to steemit, comment in someones post, article e.t.c, upvote and down vote and so many others.

PRIVATE MEMO KEY 🔑 :

this saves as a commercial key that handles you wallet. This key is required when you what to transfer tokens or powering steam up and down. Pls never disclose this key to anyone cause someone can to the above mentioned functions of this key.

PRIVATE MASTER KEY:

Master key is very important as the name implies if loosed you can be accessed to your account
as name itself is the identity, we all know what is the master key mean, here in the steemit platform it is deploy in generating all the keys including the private owner key.

In such situation like case of third party perform attack in your account steamit will request for the owner and master key and it will turn back to your account otherwise we can't get back to your account. So don't disclose to anyone.

HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM TO OTHER USER ACCOUNT

STEP 1: Login to your Steemit wallet and click on Steem balance, you will see transfer as it is show from the screenshot below.

STEP 2: Click on transfer and then enter the username, amount and Memo if there is any.

STEP 3: At the sign in enter your private active key and authorize the transfer.

STEP 4 : Click on your STEEM BALANCE and choose option "TRANSFER"

STEP 6 : Fill the recipient's details and fill the amount of steem to be transfer, click ok and proceed

HOW CAN I POWER UP STEAM

Follow the first four (1-4) steps click on the steem balance option and choose power up .
