INTRODUCTION

The importance of content cannot be overstated, as what an object or thing conveys or is made of determines its true value. The actions of an organization or establishment are guided by etiquettes.

PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is defined as the act of passing off someone else's work or idea as your own without disclosing that it was not created by you. In the same vein, pretending to be the creator of the work in order to claim all the credit, then submitting your work to the boss, claiming to have completed work that wasn't actually yours and failing to acknowledge the primary source.
It is unconventional and unprofessional because it is stealing someone else's intelligence without acknowledgment; adopting someone else's same words, ideas, and effort as if it were your own. It's unprofessional since the plagiarist makes money off of the steal.

COMMON TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

source

  • Direct Plagiarism
Direct plagiarism is the word-for-word transcription of a section of someone else’s work, without attribution and without quotation marks.

  • Self Plagiarism
Self-plagiarism occurs when a student submits his or her own previous work, or mixes parts of previous works, without permission from all professors involved.

  • Mosaic Plagiarism
Mosaic Plagiarism occurs when a student borrows phrases from a source without using quotation marks, or finds synonyms for the author’s language while keeping to the same general structure and meaning of the original. Sometimes called “patch writing,” this kind of paraphrasing, whether intentional or not, is academically dishonest and punishable – even if you footnote your source!

  • Accidental Plagiarism
Accidental plagiarism occurs when a person neglects to cite their sources, or misquotes their sources, or unintentionally paraphrases a source by using similar words, groups of words, and/or sentence structure without attribution.

Follow these four steps to ensure your paper is free from plagiarism:

  • Keep track of the sources you consult in your research.
  • Paraphrase or quote from your sources (and add your own ideas).
  • Credit the original author in an in-text citation and reference list.
  • Use a plagiarism checker before you submit.

CONCLUSION

Following the completion of a series of guides on the Steemit platform. I am familiar with steemit etiquette and how to go about the do's and don'ts in order to avoid creating a mistake in my essay, which would most likely be due to plagiarized work or a lack of reference by failing to give credit to the original author. On steemit, content originality is essential; anything less is considered "plagiarism," a waste of intellectual talent.

I appreciate you @kingreechy for you satisfactory ceaseless guidance here, thank you.

Thank you for your time and reading my work.
