Plagiarism can be said to be the process or act of interpreting a person's work idea etc as if the work was originally from you,you do this by incorporating the ideas, thoughts fully or partially into your work without duelly acknowledging the rightfull owner of the idea. Plagiarism breaches the ethics of journalism and violates academic honesty
Plagiarism types include:
Direct plagiarism:
This occurs when a writer engages in a word-for-word represention of a section or all of an author's work and failed to add quotation marks to it or any form of reference.
Self Plagiarism
An author or a writer is guilty of this type of plagiarism when he engages in a word-for-word represention of parts of the work he has done before without taking permission from all Inspector(s) that was involved in the previous work.
Mosaic Plagiarism
One Is guilty of this type of plagiarism when the writer borrows phrases from an author's work without using quotation marks, or apply words that are similar in meaning to the words that the author used while maintaining to the same general structure and idea of the original work.
Accidental Plagiarism
This type of plagiarism occurs when a writer or student paraphrases a source unintentionally by the use of synonyms without attribution.
Collaboration plagiarism
This type of plagiarism occurs when more persons engages in a work but acts as if the work was done individually during their report
• it destroy's ones reputation
• A student found guilty of Plagiarism is punished by being suspended or expelled from school thereby destroying his reputation
• if one is found guilty of plagiarism,the originator of the work can sue the plagiarist and the plagiarist might be asked to pay a certain amount of money to the originator of the work thereby leading to monetary repercussions.
• it destroy's a student reputation because if found guilty of Plagiarism,he might be expelled or suspended
• Plagiarism prevents one from building his creativity
- ensure to cite your works properly.
- Your ideas should be presented by means of creative thinking and critical analysis.
- Use of direct quotes

Conclusion
No one is excluded from bearing the consequences of plagiarism. ignorance or stature can't prevent anybody from the legal punishments of committing plagiarism. Before one writes any project, it is very important he understands clearly what plagiarism is. With the few points mentioned above,it is clear to see and understand the dangers of Plagiarism.Therefore, if one is to use an already published material, then that person must make sure to cite the original author properly.
