ACHIEVEMENT 2@MANNI-EL TASK: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEMIT MENTORED BY @CRYPTOKANNON

Hello steemians,
When I joined steemit, I was given a PDF file containing different key having different functions.

I feel very confident with this platform because unlike the other platforms, steemit security would be more difficult to penetrate by a third party if I follow the rules.
Below is a briefing on the different key.

STEEMIT KEYS

THE PRIVATE POSTING KEY
The function of this key is to login into your personal account, to vote and to comment on a post, to resteem a post or even to mute an account.

PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY
This key can be used for powering up steem and powering down transactions, for transferring tokens, converting steem dollars, for voting, for placing market orders and updating your profile.

PRIVATE MEMO KEY
The function of this key is to encrypt and decrypt memos when transferring funds.

PRIVATE MASTER KEY
I think this is the most important key and it should be kept carefully. This key is not used often as you could fall victim of loosing your account if a third party lays hold on it.

PRIVATE OWNER KEY
All keys are important but some are more important. This key can be used to recover all keys in the case of stolen Account.

You maybe wondering how one can transfer steem token to another account, below are steps to achieve that.

HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM FROM YOUR ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT.

First of all, you need to locate your wallet on your profile. Check the image bellow

After clicking on the wallet, a little box will appear beside the steem icon.

Then click on transfer

A dialogue box will appear where you can input the details of the account you wish to transfer your steem to.

HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM DOLLAR TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT

This process is similar to the step explained above.

Click on the steem dollar icon just bellow the steem Icon.

Click on transfer and Fill n the box.

Then press next.

Let me also show you how to power up your steem. Powering up steem is very important as it gives you more influence.

Still on you wallet, click on the steem icon.

Click on power up.

Feel in the amount you wish to power up, then click power up.
