Hello everyone , this is my achievement two post , I hope am in line with what is obtainable and am able to pass information to people through this post.

I have actually retrieved my steemit keys using my master password on the day I open my account.

What Steemit Keys Are

Steemit Keys are unique keys which are usually a long string of gibberish that allows the user perform all the various tasks and action in the steemit block chain as related to the users account. Steemit Keys are very personal and is advised to be kept properly and carefully to avoid losses of the keys , and are not to be shared with other people because it could lead to loss of one's account.

POSTING KEY

This key is basically used to run the social part of the steemit account, it is key used to log in to your steemit account. Posting key enables the user to vote , comment, post follow and perform other tasks on the steemit platform , it is not used for sensitive task because it is the most used key and is most likely to be obtained by fraudsters.

ACTIVE KEY

This key is used to perform tasks on the financial aspects of the steemit account, it's is normally demanded by the block chain for sensitive tasks , it is used to transfer steem , power up steem and other financial tasks that are performer by the account owner

OWNER KEY

The owner key is one of the most sensitive key of the steemit keys , it is advised to used it scarcely because it's is the key that derives other keys . It should be used when recovering a compromised account.

MEMO KEY

This key is used to encrypt and decrypt messages or memos.

MASTER PASSWORD

This is the password given to the user immediately the user has been registered on the steemit platform. This password is called the seed because it gives rise to other keys including the owner key and it is the first password created . The master password has no limitation on the steemit block chain it's can be used to authorize any and every task but it is advised not to use it except during account recovery.

I have an hard copy of the master password and all other keys which I kept Ina a safe place .

How To Transfer Steem To Another User

In your profile click on wallet.
On the side of the page you will see a drop login to your wallet
You will see something like this

There is a drop down box besides your steem balance . Click on it and a window will open. It will be something like this.

Click on transfer another window will pop up where you will see boxes where you will input the account you want to send steem to and amount of steem you want to send and then click on send.

How To Power Up Steem

In your wallet besides the steem balance you click on the drop down box

A window appears where you'll see something like this . Click on power up

Another window appears where you input the amount of steem a you want to power up.

Then click on the power up box. The amount of steem you power up will be deducted from ur account and covert to steem power.

Every transaction you perform with your wallet , you will receive a notification in your account.
