Steemit can be seen as an open platform or website where users get to post different creative items in order to get rewards . Users can post different items such as; videos, songs, images or write-ups. Since steemit is an open website people can post other peoples work intentionally or unintentionally

PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism is the imitation of someone work without copyright. It is the transferring of another persons work or idea without their permission or giving them credit. Plagiarism violates the rules and standards of the steemit community . People tend to plagiarize other peoples work. In other to avoid this, it is always better to state the source where a particular information is coming from. Also, it is always advisable to state the link where a particular information is coming from before pasting another one
Copied sentences is phases should be written using quotation marks . Also, every copy-righted text or image should have a reference to show where the item is coming from, incase readers need to get more information
People who plagiarize other peoples work are usually sanctioned or expelled. It is advisable to be creative and write your own content

1. Don't post and run. Always read and comment on other peoples post from your own point of view.
   2.Don't post too much. Over posting can disturb your followers and if not controlled, it can lead to them muting you.

8. Do not post things that are not true. Always make researches before posting an item
