Steemit is a platform rewarding members based on the content the members post and also members are expected to give in to the system by commenting and voting other people's vote . In steemit there are different communities which a user could post content on depending on the user, but it's very wrong to copy's people's work and take credits for it, which is a term "plagiarism"and it's not acceptable by the steemit community
