Good day steemians, am here to discuss about applying markdown when creating post in steemit.
The need for clarity, fancy and neat post in steemit cannot be overemphasized and the knowledge of markdowns and how to apply them can greatly help you to achieve this, that's why I want to explain to you how to easily apply markdown and make your post look organized and classy

TEXT JUSTIFICATION

To justify a text in steemit you need to write the code <div class equal to sign (=)"text-justify"> before the sentence and <forward slash (/)div> after the sentence you want to justify.

Draining of swamp at Ogborhill has succeeded in stopping the breeding of mosquitoes in the area and environmental health personnel's are here to make sure that the community receives an immunization against malaria

HOW TO ALIGN TEXT CENTER

Before the text you wish to align at the center of your writing type the code <(center)> and remove the bracket afterwords and type <forward slash (/)center> as shown below

I love steemit

HOW TO ITALICIZE AND BOLD TEXT

In writing when you wish to highlight a text by italicizing it, you need to type one star sign or asterisk * at the begining and at the ending of the text and your word will be italicized as shown below
One of my greatest hobby is playing football with pros
In the case of making a text bold instead of one star sign or asterisks at the beginning and at the end of the sentence, use two asterisks or two star signs at the beginning and at the end of the sentence. Your text will look like this
He was bold enough to approach the director
You can apply both italics and bold in a post by applying three star signs or asterisks * at the beginning of the sentence and three star or asterisks at the end of the sentence. See example below

The word CRYPTO own it's own is as vast as a universe

HOW TO ADD SUPERSCRIPT AND SUBSCRIPT IN A TEXT

To make a superscript in a word type the code <(sup)> and remove the bracket then the letter you want to make the superscript and close it with the command <forward slash (/)sup> your text will look like this

Avogadro's number= 6.02x1023

To make a subscript in a word type the code <(sub)> then remove the bracket sign and type the letter you want to make the subscript and close it with the command <forward slash(/)sub>. See example below

The chemical representation of Tetraoxosulphate(vi)acid is H2SO4

HOW TO HIDE A WEB LINK

If you make a post and wish to hide the link, copy the web link address, type the code [source] and paste the web address into a bracket (web link address). See example below
Source

I hope this post makes it easy for you to understand the beauty of markdowns and how to apply them in your post
Gracias!!
