Achievement 2 @lakhes Task : Basic Security on Steem

Hello steemit! :) how are you?
For all of my life i have been someone who can be a little forgetful. I remember once i forgot my climbing shoes at the climbing area and it is the one thing you just can not do as a climber. Just like loosing your passwords for Steemit. So i needed to take all the precautions i could take to protect my Steemit account. And thanks to @cryptokannon , i did!

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

I stored them in 3 different ways. First i uploaded them to two different hard disks and secured them. And after that i wrote them on a paper and hide in my safe box in an old fashioned way. And also i stored them on my computer so i can easily copy paste when i need them.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes, i read and learnt about what my keys and password are for at @cryptokannon s blog.

Posting key

This is for social actions like posting, commenting etc.

Active key

This is for wallet actions like power up/down transactions, transferring funds etc.

Owner key

This one is for social actions, wallet actions and also for account recovery so it needs to be saved offline in case of an emergency.

Memo key

This key is used to either encrypt or decrypt memos when transferring funds.

Master Password

With this one i can generate all the other keys including owner key.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I keep my master password offline so i wrote it down and secured it in my safe box. Also i printed it and hide it in a secure place.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes, I do.
