Achievement 4 by @kusal Task : Applying Markdowns

Hello Steemians,

How are you guys? Hope you all keep well. So today I'm going to present my achievement 4 task. Before the task. I would like to thank @wilmer1988 for verifying my Achievement 3 post within a few hours when I post it. In this task, I can post anything so as a travel lover I would like to write one of my travel stories. Ok let's move to the post without further ado,

Bopath Ella waterfall located at Kuruwita, Sri Lanka. It is major tourist attraction in Ratnapura district. It is height about 30m. The meaning of the name is Bo (Bo tree) Path(Leaf) Ella(Waterfall). The reason for that name is that this waterfall takes the shape of the leaf of that tree. Watercourse of this waterfall is Kuru Ganga river. There are several historical stories about that waterfall. I would like to tell you one of them. There are Maha Saman Devalaya (Temple) in Ratnapura. It was built at ancient past. The kings used to bathe in this waterfall when they went to worship the temple.

How to reach

From Colombo, you can go there by bus(public). You should take Colombo to Ratnapura bus and get down at Kuruwita It will be 2 hour journey. After that take a Taxi or Tuk-Tuk there is only 3km from Kuruwita to Bopath Ella. Usually, Bopath Ella is a little bit busy area. So better to go on a weekday than on holidays or weekends.

  • Swimming is dangerous.
  • When it rains, the water level rises quickly.
  • You should take a Ticket.
