Hello fellow steemians. My name is Abdul Latif Kadir and I'm continuing with the achievement task of the newcomers community. Today, I'm going to talk about achievement5 task 2 which is about steemscan in the steemit world.

Steemscan is the exchange tool which help
to convert steem to other currencies such as USDT, BTC and TRX. It was been created by Furureshock and Roadfrich, it has help the steem users to transfer monies from one wallet to the other wallet with an ease. Let see the current steem price and the volumes as at 14/06/2021

The chart shows the price of steem from days to weeks to years. The volume shows how many steems are sold or bought in a day, week, months, quarter and year.

Steem has a height of 54,618,471 STEEM 0.42 USD and Supply:384,713,931 STEEM/7,947,461 SBD all values are on the 14/06/2021.

To check all the latest transaction (vote, comments , claim rewards ) you have to check this category

The page also shares all the transaction on the blockchain which includes rewards, comments, claims of rewards, transfers and other activities. And also the lastest blocks, their height and withness.
this is the screenshot of the latest blocks which enables users to check the latest blocks in the market.

WITNESS

To access the witnesses menu

1. Click on menu
   
2. From the pop down list click on witness

1. And finally we can see Total Witness

From the picture below looking at the top the witness section shows the total witness 14,952. Total mined steem 348,722,245. Transactions count of 15. Current witness: hoasen and Last block height of 54,622,295

To vote for witness, click on the vote on the right far of the witness. Fill in your credentials

Click on confirm to vote.

DAapp

DApps stands for "Decentralized Applications". It also runs on a blockchain like steem blockchain .
It’s like the AppStore or play store where you install apps of your choice for specific purposes. The DApps I’ll be using frequently is the Dtube because I love entertainment. For health I’ll go for the Actifit app and my favorite Holy Bread just to mention few. Their lots of exciting apps on the DApps which I’ll encourage all of us to use.

You can locate DApps by clicking on menu and clicking on DApps from the list that appears.
Here are some apps on the DApps

QUICK CONVERT

This button is used to convert steem to other cryptocurrency, bitcoin, tether and trons.. These are some of the steps a use convert Steem to other currencies.
The quick covert can be found when you click on menu and click on quick convert.

Enter the amount of steem you want to covert.
choose the cryptocurrency you are converting to either BTC, TRON or USDT
paste the destination wallet address.
And click on create order to confirm transactions.
The current fee charged on different steem account is
1.08594517 USDT and can be found below the quick convert area.

SEARCH

You can save your time by search feature option . It is a worthy feature [steemscan.com] gives us. The “search” feature has three types of search types namely; transactions, block and account based on what you’re looking for. It also gives you more options about what exactly you’re looking for which is called “Additional Parameters”. It includes transfer, comments, deleted comments, Account update, Account claim, Account create, power up, power down, delegate and many more depending on what you really want.
You can find the “search” feature by clicking on menu then clicking on search.

The details needed are filled then click on search. The result of the search then appears.

It was fun learning all these features of the steemscan. I’ll now be able to do all my transactions, vote witnesses, use amazing of apps of the DApps and many more.
