Achievement 2 @kalyanshresth Task : Basic Security on Steem

I am trying to complete this basic security on steem which is achievement 2. Users were provided following question to answer after completely reading the recommended post. So let's begin with our first question.
Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Before retrieving all of your all keys om steemit firstly you must get your Master password i.e. the password or key that was provided the steemit while you signed up. After getting into your steem account then first thing you need to do is to navigate to your wallet. After locating the wallet inside your steemit account then your window will look like this:

As you can see above that after finding your wallet you can see the keys and permission section.Then you can now retrieve your all keys on steemit.

Question 2
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
So coming into the function and restriction of the keys in steemit, it is a bit tricky. Let me first list all the keys that are provided to us:

Posting key

Active key

Owner key

Memo key

Master key

Posting key:
First thing you should know is you always login into steem with your posting key, this is what posting key is for. As it's name suggest (posting) it's one function is for posting purposes. while posting key is also used for comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. Only for such stuffs posting key is used.

Active key
You don't use your Active key for any random stuffs rather this key is very sensitive keys and you will have to use this type of keys for sensitive task like transferring funds to and from your account , power up/down transactions, converting your Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar, and placing a market order.

Owner key
This set of key is not generally used for most common thing. This key is used only used for changing your keys. You have to keep this key very safe offline, if this key falls on other hand then he/she can easily change every other key including the owner key itself. So you should not it anywhere and keep a hardcopy safe and have multiple copies.

Memo key
Memo key is basically used for encryption and decryption of your memos in the time of transferring funds from your account. So in order to encrypt your memo use the pound/# sign before your memo.

Private key
Private key is master of all key. This key is same as the owner key the only different between private key and owner key is that private key can generate all the keys present here including owner key. So similarly you should use this key only for the retrieving your account. Just as owner key you should not lose or misplace your private key as this change every key present here. This is very powerful key and should keep offline copy so that it can be accessed anytime even your softcopy gets wiped.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Since the master password is the most powerful key in entire Steemit as it can change every key here. Firstly when i find my keys in the keys and permission section then immediately I will make a hardcopy of master key and make multiple copy and keep somewhere safe into multiple locker. This is how I will know my master password is safe.

Question4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Transferring your steem token to another user's account is very much easy and it just take a minute to transfer it. So you can follow the basic following :

1. Firstly, click on your avatar and select wallet.
2. Now you can click on steem dollar's small triangle and then select tranfer.
3. Enter username of the person you want to send steem token, amount and memo text.
4. click sign and your are done, you can check your transfer history.

Question 5
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Powering up your steem is very easy as well. All you have to do is following :

1. Click on your avatar and find wallet. You can see steem power, steem dollar and saving there and you find your Steem Dollars
2. Click the small triangle just next to your Steem Dollars and open the menu then click on market .
3. Under buy steem section you can enter the amount of steem dollar you want to exchange for the amount of steem you have. After you successfully buy of the steem then just below your steem dollar you can see powerup button. Now you just have to click on powerup.
