Achievement 2 : Basic Security on Steem

Security, is something that has to do with one securing his personal data against malicious threat.

As a steemian, I have come to understand how important my security key are to me. Which means it's my duties to safeguard my security key against unauthorized users that one to gain access over my steemit account. Here are what I have understand about steemit security keys and how to use them, which are listed and explain below:

Posting key:
This is the key which give me access to write a post, comment, edit, vote and upvote, a post. It also allow me to resteem a post and follow or mute other accounts on my profile.

Active key:
This key gives my steemit account the access to transferring funds, power up/down transactions. It allows me to convert Steem Dollars to steem, place market order. As well anything that has to do with fund.

Owner key:
This is the key i can use to reset all other keys, if my account has been compromised.

Memo key:
This key can be used to decrypt private transfer memos.

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Answer;
Yes, I have retrieved all my keys on Steemit and store them in a save place.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Answer;
Yes, i know each of them they functions and restrictions.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer;
I plan keeping my master password on both offline and online methods. I have wrote it on notebook and then keep it in a safer place incase I misplace my phone. Why the online method is saving all my steemit key which I downloaded in PDF format into my email address and google drive.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Answer: Yes I know from what I have read and also the videos I have watch so far, also @beautychicks has taught me the step I will used on whatsapp. So with all this I strongly believe I can do that by myself.

Question 5
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Answer:
yes I know, because I have once done that by powering up with 0.003 steem.

@kiwiscanfly thank for your article it helps a lot and has also make me to understand steemit Wallet very well.
