Achievement 5 Task 2 by @joemuk: Reviewing of Steemscan.com

Hello everyone welcome to my achievement post which is my achievement 5 task 2 were I will be discussing about steemscan and why it is needed in your stem journey so let's go.

The question and answer will be done now.

1). Please explain the current steem price and volume on the date of submission of the review?

The screenshot above shows that at the time of writing this article the price of steem is at $0.39 while the volume is at 55,080,732

If you want to check the price of steel daily, weekly or monthly you can use steemscan.

2). Please explain what all information is shown under the latest transaction and latest block section?

To find the latest transaction section or the latest block section all you need to do is open steemscan in your browser.

• latest transaction: the latest transaction section shows all the latest transaction that is ongoing in steemit like like votes, comment, customJson, type of transaction, ID of the user and on and on.

• latest blocks section: this section shows other things like ID, time, mined by witnesses and block transactions, height.

3). Please explain what all information is under witness section and steps vote a witness?

The witness section in steemscan shows a lot of things like steem minedtotal block, last block volume, transaction count, current witnesses and user that are active.

• when you want to vote for witnesses

• click that thing that says menu at the top left hand conner then in the drop down menu, click witnessess.
  

• the next thing is to click on any user you chose as witness and vote but remember that you must have a steemit account to be able to vote.

The screenshot below shows the current witnesses and last block height and another thing is that it also shows the list of witnesses.

4). Please explain what is DApps and mention 3 DApps that you have already used or may use in the future as per your interest?

Dapps are applications that operate with distribution ledger technology like the steemit blockchain and another thing is that Dapps are decentralized that means the don't operate by any control from a central source.source

There are a lot of dapps in this block chain but I am going to be listing 3

I). Krypto Gamers: this is a gambling game that is in this block chain for those of us that loves gambling.

II). Drug wars: this is a game that I love playing which is also in the block chain for you to play and earn

III). Hash kings: this another game that runs on this block chain and I think it is fun because it is a game and it looks good

Note that I have not tried any of the game yet but I will try them when I am done with this my achievement.

5). how to use Quick Convert and what is the fee charged for different steem amount for withdrawal?

To use quick convert it means that you want to convert the cryptocurrency you hold quickly but it cost fee and also it depends on the amount of steam you want to convert, for example you want to convert 10 steem to usdt then you will be receiving 1.5 usdt and you will be charged 1 usdt as the fee as you see below.

6). Please explain what information is provided by the search feature ?

The search section in steemscan provides features that will help the user and those features are transactions, witness,etc.
Filter are also available to make searching easier and faster.
