Achievement 5 Task 2 by @joemuk: Reviewing of Steemscan.com

Hello every one welcome to another achievement post and this is the achievement 5 task 2, yesterday i did achievement 5 task 1 were i explained or review steemworld.org today i am going to be reviewing steemscan.com.

The question and answers begins now.

1). Please explain the current steem price and volume on the date of submission of the review?

The screen short above shows that the current price of steem is $0.46 while the volume as of the time that this screenshort was taken is at 54,538,188.

You can simply check the price of steem and volum daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly on steemscan.com

2). Please explain what all information is shown under the latest transaction and latest block section?

To locate the latest transaction section and latest block section all you need to do is open steemscan in your browser.

• Latest Transaction: This section shows all the latest transaction that is happening in steemit like votes, comment, customJson, type of transaction, ID of the user and so on.

• Latest Blocks: This section shows some things like the details of the ID, height, time, mined by witnesses and block transcations.

3). Please explain what all information is under witness section and steps vote a witness?

This witness section in steem scan shows a lot of data like users that are active, mined steem, total block, last block volume, transaction count and current witnesses.

• To vote for the witnesses
• Click menu at the top left hand side then in the drop down menu click witnesses.

• Next thing to do is to click on any user and vote but remember only those with steemit account can vote.

The below screenshot shows the current witnesses and last block height and again it also shows the list of witnesses.

4). Please explain what is DApps and mention 3 DApps that you have already used or may use in the future as per your interest?

Dapps are applications that operate with distribution ledger technology like the steemit blockchain and another thing is that Dapps are decentralized that means the don't operate by any control from a central source.

There are a lot of Dapps that runs on the steemit blockchain

I am going to be naming three of this Dapps that are on steemit and they are.

• Epic Dice: this is a gambling game
• Hash kings: This is an RPG game that can be played on your browser
• Steemit: this is a social platform like facebook, twitter and instagram.

I have not make use of any of them but i plan to in the future maybe after all my achievement posts.

5). Please explain how to use Quick Convert and what is the fee charged for different steem amount for withdrawal?

Quick Convert is used when a user want to convert cryptocurrency quick but you will be charged a fee and it depends on the amount of steem you are trying to convert, for example if you are converting 20 steem to usdt then you will be getting 6 usdt and you will be charged 1 usdt as you can see in this image below.

6). Please explain what information is provided by the search feature ?

This section in steemscan provides other features that will help the user and the features are transactions, witness,etc.
Filter are also available to make searching easier and faster.
