ACHIEVEMENT 5 TASK 2 BY @joelmaxwell: REVIEW STEEMSCAN. COM

Good morning steemians, I have gone through the post by @cryptokanno and @yohan2on for achievement5 task 2. I will like to present my review of STEEMSCAN.COM . That amazing site is the work of @futureshock and @roadofrich.

WHAT IS STEEMSCAN

   Answer

It is actually an exchange tool used for changing steem into other crypto currency forms. You can change steem to USDT,BTC or TRX through this amazing site "steemscan.com". When you visit steemscan.com, you will first see the home page which have the menu icon. It was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich

You can see the current steem prices and volumes of steem on 26 August 2021, the current steem price is 0.56 steem/usd and 389,194,149 steem/8,626,574 and which indicates an increase in price of steem

Information shown under latest transactions and latest block chain.

Latest transactions

There are a lot of information shown on latest transactions, a total of 6.
1.Block ID - it is the unique number and letters of a user
2.ID- it is a unique set of number that used to identify a user.
3.Sender- someone who made a transaction
4.Receiver- someone who received the money
5.Type-you will see all the types of activity the sender does, including vote, transfer, comment.
6.Amount/payload- this actually shows the amount or value of the transaction.

Information under latest block

There are two information namely;
1.ID - this is actually a unique number of a user
2.Block transaction- This are transaction made

ALL INFORMATION UNDER WITNESS SECTION

Click on menu
Click on witness

You will see information like;
Last block height and Current Witness
Under "Active" you will see rank witness status and version

To vote a witness, all you need do is click on witnesses icon on home page , you will see witnesses you can vote.

WHAT IS DAPPS AND 3 DAPPS I INTEND USING

This means Decentralized Applications. This is a digital application that exist and also runs a blockchain network. Some examples of DApp i would like to use are Dtube, actifit, steem hunt and steemit. They are all amazing.

HOW TO USE QUICK CONVERT

This is used to exchang steem to other form of cryptocurrency.

1.Click on the menu
2.Click on quick convert.

3.You enter the amount of steem you which to convert. In my example i converted 20steem to BTC which gave me -0.00076852BTC

4.Enter you withdrawal address
5.Click on create order to complete the transaction.
6.To finalise the transaction you will need to enter your active key and confirm the order.
7.Once you processe your order, a standard fee of approximately $1 is charged for the transaction.

Information provided by the search feature:

Transaction- The account of the transaction
Transaction ID: is the unique number of user
Additional parameters: It indicates the type of transaction that the user wants to do. Some of those transactions can be, transfer, comment, power up, vote, account claim.
Amount: The amount to be sent to the receiver
Date: date of the transaction
