Hello friends of Steemit. I have been on the platform for a few months now and on my own I was able to learn many things, however I am still ignorant in others, it is never too much to keep learning. I have already done achievement 1, achievement 2 and now I will do achievement 3.

Today's task is: Content Etiquette

what is plagiarism?

The term plagiarism is defined in the Dictionary of the Spanish language of the Royal Spanish Academy as the action of «substantially copying other people's works, giving them as one's own» .1 From a legal point of view, it is an infringement of copyright about of an artistic or intellectual work of any kind, which is incurred when a foreign work is presented as its own or original. source

Thus, a person commits plagiarism if he copies or imitates something that does not belong to him and impersonates its author, with or without his authorization. In the case of written documents, for example, this crime is classified when an idea, text, image or design of another author is included, without expressly announcing it, without using quotation marks (or the equivalent indentation and different typeface) and without citing the source or original author., Plagiarism specifically constitutes a violation of the paternity of the work, considered within the framework of moral rights.source
