Nonetheless, in this achievement of the pro-minnow program, I am delighted to bring to your table and expand our understanding on the steem security system.

THE BASIC SECURITY IN STEEMIT
BLOCKCHAIN.
Security in steemit blockchain, it is expedient to note that without the knowledge of how the security works on the system, one might lose his/her valuable and it may be painful to such an individual, so below is about the keys and their uses in as much as the blockchain is concerned.

Presently, There are about five basic security keys in Steemit blockchain which can be used for different actions on your account and I advise that they be kept safe not to be exposed, I think it's better you save them offline or in your Google account manager to avoid total misplacement. Each of these keys has their roles and fundamental functions and this is where I take my direction on. Below are list of keys and functions they perform as organized by our experts.

TYPES OF KEYS KEYS AND FUNCTIONS

POSTING KEY
This key is not too relevant but is it quite important to understand its functionality, It does not require a higher level of security,and it does not give official permission to any operations that is linked to the token in your wallet.

   The fundamental functions 

*Publish/edit a post or comment
*Upvoting or downvoting
*Resteem content
*Follow people
*Mute accounts.
THE ACTIVE KEYS
This key is important and should be guided because it link details on the financial aspect of your account, thus an individual needs this key to access your wallet.

The fundamental functions
*Transfer tokens
*Power STEEM up or down
*Editing your profile
*Vote for witnesses
*Place an order on an exchange
*SBD Conversion
*Create a new user.

OWNERS KEY
This key serves almost as the masters but it's not the masters key,it is also powerful , very useful because it can be used to change any other keys on the account, including itself but it cannot be used as master password. You're advised to save this password offline or via Google
account manager, also external disk or flash drive or in printed papers can be a better save method to save it and we only use it to recover a compromised account.

*Reset Owner, Active, and Posting keys
*Recover your account
*Decline voting rights

MASTERS PASSWORD
The masters password is the most valuable access password you can't afford to misplace, it is used to unlock all keys on your account, even the owner key that was discussed above. When you sign up for steemit it is the first password that will be given to you to login and access your wallet. This key can be found ,when you have accessed your wallet, you can lose your account If your master password is exposed to any third party site or if someone sees it, they can steal your account and all of the valuable in it. So it is recommended you save this password according to the saving suggestions specified for other keys above,if you eventually loss it you cannot recover it and thereby losing access to your steem account.thats how imperative the key is.
MEMO KEY

The memo key is not frequently used in the steem blockchain for now though it has its importance,however it only has two purposes.

The fundamental functions.

*Send an encrypted private message

*View an encrypted private message

  CONCLUSION 

I warmly advise you save your master password properly etc, it is the most powerful of all passwords. You can only login into your account using the key with the appropriate permissions for what you are doing. If logging in with your posting key, make sure you don't overwrite it. Do not disclose your passwords or keys with any third party site as mentioned above and the reasons for all these emphasis is for the knowledge and consciousness of holding your keys safe to internalize or memorize it store it in your mind to avoid sorrow ,except you are sure of that site, there are phishing sites that have been created to steal peoples' credentials all over the ne therefore, one needs to be very careful while using your keys, be notify these , don't fall prey . Always remember, there is no way to recover your account if you lose your master password or owner key as well. If your account is stolen you can only recover its ownership and not the funds.
In a nutshell, I have expanded the essential values of all these keys and I hope I have brought to your understanding the importance of these keys.

For a better understanding on my points on the matter of buying steem with sbd and powering down and up,below are picture with brief illustration.

• firstly when you login and click on your wallet below is what you will see.

Now depending on what u want to do,buy steeem with sbd, power up ,transfer or trade all on your choice,but would go on buying steem with sbd, in your wallet, at the region steem dollers that your sbd click on the small arrow after the green coloured number you will see option being pop up as below.

Now you click on the option market immediately it will redirect you to the next page as below.

Notice you would see colons where you can buy steem and sell,recall from the origin where intending buying steem with sbd so therefore we at the region below the you would see avialable sbd,it means the total sbd you are having in you wallet,thus you click on the rectangle colon or box where sbd is seen in and insert your desired sbd,the total number of steem you want will appear in the rectangle box before the sbd box,immediately the buy steem button shows green,then click on it, it will take you to the below page.

Click on the button OK and it would take you the next page below.

Now your master or active key would be needed insert and proceed it will redirect you back to the market wait for a while then check on your steem position the desired steem u bought would appear then u can choose what to do with it.
