A wonderful day to all my fellow steemians. I hope you're all doing well. I am going to proceed with the next step of my TASK @cryptokannon which is Achievement 3: it's all about plagiarism and its types.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

.In my own understanding, plagiarism is when you present someone's work with or without their permission, and by holding it into your work without giving them full credit.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

Mosiac Plagiarism

This is when a beginner steals phrases from the source without citing them. And even finds synonyms for the author's language while keeping the content's fundamental structure and purposes.

Direct Plagiarism

This is when copying the other's work content which is word for word transcription or when is everything totally copied from their content.

Accidental Plagiarism

This happens when you neglect to properly credit their sources. And plagiarism may also include unintentional paraphrase or even grouping of phrases that match with the source. This is also treated with the same seriousness as another form of plagiarism.

SELF-PLAGIARISM

It happens when you submitted your work to the professor and somebody reuses it without the consent of the professor, this may also be called self-plagiarism.

SIGNIFICANCE OF PLAGIARISM

.Plagiarism it is also meant as the act of copying or stealing someone's work. This comes when you copy someone else work, it is just you ruining your reputation as an individual author, and it's possible that your work will be downvoted in the community.

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM

.The first thing to do to avoid plagiarism, we need to learn and to know more about citation. Its means as a reference to the source of an information certainly.
For example, a way of a quote by the authority or proof of several cites noteworthy authors. It is very important to learn more about citation and how to cite a text in order to use one's idea properly or in the right way.
By citing the source of other people's statements we can learn some ideas in our own writing. And it also enriches the scope of our content.

CONCLUSION

.In a society where the creation of content is increasingly valued, it was unavoidable for someone to believe that stealing other people's work or content would benefit them.
Naturally, these have become prevalent nowadays, and unfortunately, individuals continue to do it in various ways all around the world as I write this, there are still malicious individuals who will continue to appear in all places. And it doesn't mean will stop struggling with them.

I have learned that while we are still on this platform we should follow the rules, And as a member of this platform reading its etiquette, I then understand that we have a big responsibility in this community that we are taking part in this platform.
