Achievement 3 by @ismot ara Task: Content Etiquette

in Newcomers' Community2 years ago (edited)

Greetings, everyone.
How are you, my steemitan pals from the new world? By the mercy of the All-Powerful Allah, I am all right. I am incredibly grateful to the Steemit community for allowing me to work on "Achievement 3." "Content etiquette" is that. I'll tell you what I know about it now.

Content etiquette:
The accepted protocol for polite conduct in society or among members of a specific profession or organization is known as content etiquette. One should adhere to the laws or moral standards of their neighborhood. One of their strong codes is plagiarism.

What is plagiarism?
It's commonplace to share content, and that's what the internet is all about. All authors and content producers don't care if you share their work; instead, they will appreciate it because it increases their audience. However, the issue emerges when you use less of their content and information while omitting their identities. It's a form of theft. The definition of plagiarism has now been clarified. Plagiarism prevents creativity and originality from occurring.

Plagiarism Types
Plagiarism comes in four forms. Let me describe them.

Direct Plagiarism
Direct plagiarizing is an egregious offense. Someone duplicated another person's work verbatim without identifying the author's name.

Self-Plagiarism
Authors occasionally publish their previous works for scholarly and research purposes without acknowledging that they are their previous works. The act of self-plagiarism is another.

Mosaic Plagiarism
Is when a student uses phrases from a source without putting them in quotation marks (ex., "...") or comes up with synonyms for the author's words while adhering to the basic format and meaning of the original.

Accidental plagiarism
Happens when someone needs to remember to mention their sources cite them incorrectly, or unintentionally paraphrase them by utilizing identical terms, word groupings, or sentence structures without giving proper credit.

Plagiarism causes:
There are several causes for plagiarism.
They lack originality but have a burning ambition to be well-known.
Laziness is another factor.
• Inadequate time management abilities.
• Those who cheat unconsciously.
• Inability to choose from a variety of sources, etc.

How can plagiarism be prevented?

Be truthful when utilizing direct quotations. Either use direct quotes or don't use any at all.
For example, if I copy any text I will mention its quota and source.

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. -Nelson Mandela

Use paraphrasing sparingly.
Avoid copying and pasting.
As you continue, use footnotes.
Determine to complete your work.

Plagiarism is a type of crime. We ought to put our all into what we do. It might ruin your reputation and career. Even the boss has the right to fire you from your position. So, be sincere in your work, and you'll become more imaginative. And fame and respect usually follow creativity. I recognize the value of authenticity and make a point to write without using any plagiarized material. I'll abide by Steemit's regulations. And I've read, comprehended, and will try my best to adhere to the Steemit Etiquette in the Steem Community.
I'll stop writing now. I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you
