What's plagiarism?
In my understanding, plagiarism is the unauthorized use of People's work which includes writing, photograph etc without a formal permission from the rightful owner of the work.
In this case you have make citation of the site or name of the owner or source of the work to show respect and honor to the brain behind the work and to avoid legal punishment that follows the offense of plagiarism.

Forms of plagiarism
1. Verbatim (word for word) quotation without clear acknowledgement.
2. Cutting and pasting from the Internet without clear acknowledgement.
3. Paraphrasing.
4. Collusion.
5. Inaccurate citation
6. Use of material written by professional agencies or other persons.
8. Auto-plagiarism.
citation.

If you work with this simple rules, Steemit will be a nice place for you.
Always remember that plagiarism is a punishable crime, if it's necessary to use people make sure you do it with legal permissions. Make sure you always do citation of the place you got the informations from, it shows respect, and professionalism.

"Every copy/pasted sentence should be either in quotes “” or formatted using the > markup. Every paraphrased paragraph, sentence or idea should have a reference as close to it as reasonably possible to indicate its origin."src

Thank you for making out your time to read this article despite it's length!
