First of all I want to greet you and wish you a nice day, for my 4th achievement I want to talk a little about what Reading Compressionis, although it is true that the platform is based on creating content, in my opinion it is also based on Reading,and I consider that we must do it A LOT,and in turn understand each topic related to our interest.

What is Reading Comprehension?

Reading comprehension is a cognitive process that guides you to understand the full essence of a text, if we go a little to history it has never been entirely easy to learn to read, so children put an effort together with their family and school to achieve it and master reading very well.

Generally if a child or a person can hear and understand oral language well, the process of writing and reading will be much easier, although this is true, there are some tips that I want to highlight:

• First of all have a good motivation and interest in the text that is going to be read, because it usually happens that many times we read and when we finish there is nothing left in our mind.

• Have a good interpretation put that we must, that we must look for the ideas of the text giving a good sketch of the text.

• Look for the relationship of the text with topics equal or similar to the one we are trying to understand thoroughly, since this gives us the opportunity to create structures either mental or conceptual of the subject and this can be more explicit.

• One of the learnings that we human beings have very marked is from the association and this gives us the most relevant ideas, that these bear a very important fruit, and that is to create identity related to the text that we are trying to understand.

• Another tips no less important is the search, of the meanings of the words from the grammatical, orthographic and etymological point of view of the words, for this the use of these dictionaries, both digital and printed that help us to this, is suggested.

• Having a good imagination since it is difficult when you have a closed mind to a topic, to understand the texts related to it, and it is very difficult to understand when we can not create mental images of it.

• Dedicate time and not do it lightly, take into account and with sufficient appreciation the text to be studied.

That we could say that reading comprehension leads us to also understand the text, and this leads us to obtain good techniques and be able to meet the levels of good understanding as it is: create, evaluate, analyze, apply, understand and remember.

The literal, inter-referential, critical, appreciative, creative understanding can also be fulfilled with the aforementioned steps.

We can also practice, Read aloud.

It is very important to make reading and knowledge a habit, this opens our minds to any subject, grow mentally and emotionally, the great thinkers and philosophers penetrated their potential by dedicating themselves to understanding what others had written about their discoveries.
