Achievement 5 Task 1 by @harryel: Review Steemworld.org

~INTRODUCTION~

Good day Steemians!

Today I will resume the Newcomers' Achievement tasks, which i have held up on, from Achievement 5 - Task 1, which is to be a simple review of the Steemit accessory site and tool, SteemWorld.

SteemWorld is a web application and management tool developed by @steemchiller. It is used to view and analyze, as well as manage the user's steem account.

In order to complete this task, i will first and foremost sign in to using my Steemit Private Posting key. To do this:

• Go to SteemWorld and click on the Sign in button at the top right corner of the page.

• You will be required to put in your Steem account name and private posting key. After you put it in, click OK.

• I have now successfully signed into SteemWorld.

Now, let me go on to answer the task questions.

1. How to check Reward Summary for All time, last 30 days and last 7 days for your account

In order for one to view their reward summary i.e. how much they've made through Steemit, after signing in to SteemWorld, from the homepage, click on the Dashboard option at the top left.

This takes you to your account's dashboard on the site.

Upon scrolling down, you will then see a section dedicated to Reward Summary, where you can see how much you have earned through Steemit through Author, Curation and other rewards, as well as collectively, in SBD, SP and in USD.

2. What is Delegations, what are the type of delegations and how do you delegate SP?

Delegation is the sharing of one's acquired SP (Steem Power) with other users, in order to increase their influence and supportive power on the platform. You can be delegated SP to increase your own supportive power on the platform by others, or you can delegate to other users.

SP that is delegated to you is termed an Incoming Delegation, and the one you delegate to other users is an Outgoing Delegation. These are the two types of delegation. Delegation is a type of lending, and as such can be withdrawn. One can decide on the date of delegation expiry when delegating and automate withdrawal, or just withdraw it when they decide to.

For you to check your delegations, you can scroll down through the dashboard and click on Delegations within the menu at the left.

As we can see, i have no Incoming...

or Outgoing delegations.

In order to delegate some of my SP, i can click on the Delegate... option highlighted in the above image.

A box pops up and I am then required to put in the account i wish to delegate SP to, as well as the amount, after which i click Ok

Another box pops up for me to confirm that i want to delegate the SP, and to check if the information entered earlier is correct. If confirmed, i click Yes.

I will then be required to put in my Private Active Key and click Ok, but since this is a tutorial, i will not be doing that, However, if one completes that step, the SP will then be delegated.

3. How to check Incoming and Outgoing Votes

To check one's incoming and outgoing votes:

• Go to the Stats section. Towards the bottom right, you will see the options to check incoming and outgoing votes.

• By clicking on Inc. Votes we can view our incoming votes.

• By clicking Out. Votes we can view our outgoing votes.

4. How to check account operations for past 7 days and what are all the details that can be checked?

In order to check Account Operations, scroll down on the dashboard to the Account Operations box.

Here we can see the going-ons in our account for Today, and the past 7 days. In this box we can see Comments, Upvotes and Downvotes, Delegations, Market orders, Rewards, Transfers, and SPS related and Witness related information.

5. Explain Author, Curation and Beneficiary Rewards.

Author Rewards are the rewards one gets for posting quality content and getting upvoted. One can check this by scrolling down on the dashboard. These can come in SP and/or SBD.

Curation rewards are the rewards one gets for voting on good quality content. These come in the form of SP.

Beneficiary rewards are gotten when someone makes a post in which they make you a beneficiary, i.e. you become eligible to collect a certain amount of the rewards from the post.

6. How to check your upvote value and at different voting weights using this tool

A user's upvote value is dependent on the user's amount of Steem Power. This can be checked through the dashboard where it is displayed at the very top left of the page.
