I posted my introduction post a few days ago and after completing my Achievement 1, Now I am verified in achievement 1 Alhamdulilah. Now, today I will do my Achievement 2 task: Basic Security on Steem.

Security

Security means protecting anything from any unknown person. That's why we use passwords. Now, you can say that privacy needs security. And without security your privacy cannot be protected and in this modern world it is very important to know about security and how to protect our account. If you do not have a secure security system, anyone can access your personal data. And he can edit your personal data. Now, I will tell you about Basic Security on Steem.

How to View keys

• Step 1;

Login to your wallet with the your active key

• Step 2;

Then click Keys and Permission

• Step 3;

Choose from the available option and select the key you want to view

As you can see in the above screenshot, the steam has the following 5 keys.

1. Posting key
2. Memo key
3. Active key
4. Owner key
5. Master key

Posting key

Posting key is very useful for daily login of your account. It helps you post, comment, reply, edit, up vote, down vote, resteem, follow and mute other accounts. Although it is not used in financial transactions, it should be kept secure so that third parties do not have access to your account to post, vote, resteem and mute without your permission.

Memo key

Memo keys are used to send or receive messages privately. It is used to secure your transaction information when transferring funds to another account makes it special as it prevents third parties from intercepting your funds while transferring money to the crypto market.

Active key

The active key is very delicate and the best part is that we can change the profile details with the active key and we can also use the active key for change the funds transfer, power up/down transactions, voting, convert steem Dollars and place a marketing order.

Owner key

Owner key is the most powerful key on the steam. This key allows you to do things that other keys cannot. We can use Owner key to reset all passwords and recover accounts within 30 days and therefore must be stored offline and even printed.

Master key

A wise man can guess from its name that it is the master of all the keys. The Master key is used to retrieve all other keys such as posting keys, active key, memo key and owner key. It can change the owner's key. It is not wrong to say that it is also the mother key of all keys. My master password is very important to me so I have saved my master key in my personal file and in my dairy.

Transfer your Steem to another Steemit user account

• Step 1;

Open the website on Google and type Steemit.com

• Step 2;

Login to your account using active key.

• Step 3;

Click profile icon to show a drop down menu.

• Step 4;

Click on wallet.

• Step 5;

Click on the arrow pointed down on steem.

• Step 6;

Click on the Transfer option.

• Step 7;

Enter the receiver username, the amount and you can put a memo (Optional) and click next then confirm.

Power up your steem

We know that Transfer and Power Up's first 4 steps are the same.

• Step 1;

Open the website on Google and type Steemit.com

• Step 2;

Login to your account using active key.

• Step 3;

Click profile icon to show a drop down menu.

• Step 4;

Click on wallet.

• Step 5;

Click on the Power Up option.

• Step 6;

Put the amount you want to power up and click Power Up then confirm.
