Achievement 1: My Introductory Post @Steemit// By @greyc 1/10/2021
Introduction
Hello Steemit family my name is Grace I am 24 years old, I am from Abia state Nigeria and I live in Lagos Nigeria. It's my pleasure to be part of this informative community.
I am a lover of children, very outgoing and a good sense of humor there is never a dull moment with me around.
Family Background
I come from a family of 8 (parents included) I am the 3rd child and, first daughter we are from the Eastern part of Nigeria. I grew up in the typical average African home in Nigeria, where parents try to instill discipline in their children (my 9ja people go understand 😂) there was no room for laziness my parents were strict yet loving.
Education
I Had both my primary and secondary school education in my local community here in Lagos.
Then I decided to learn a vocation after finishing my Secondary School education in 2013, I ventured into the world of Cosmetology learning the tricks of the beauty world.
Then in 2017 I proceeded to study Mass Communication at the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) I graduated in 2020.
Career
These past few years asides running a personal business, I have walked different career paths. In 2017 while schooling I worked as a Field Agent for a Telecommunication Company, I also worked as a Secretary in a small business firm, then I worked as a Content creator for a Loan App and later as an online Customer Care Representative for another Loan App.
Why I joined Steemit
My aunt @meymeyshops and @goodspeed22 first introduced this platform to my Mum @essygold who In turn introduced Steemit to me.
At first I was not interested as, I was already tired of similar online platforms but, after going through the platform my interest was sparked and here I am.
I love making research and writing on different topics and Steemit is a great platform to do that whilst making money.
My Expectations
I expect to gain knowledge on different things the platform has to offer at the same time earn extra cash.
Hobbies
I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, listening to music and exploring new environments.
Conclusion
In conclusion I am super excited to be part of this community, I hope to learn and interact with the Steemit family and in turn contribute to the growth of the community.
