hi everyone I am back here to complete my acheivement 3 task.

Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is when an author copies the work of another author without their consent.

Types of plagiarism.

A. Direct plagiarism
Direct or plagiarism occurs when a content creator copies the text of another content creator, word for word, without the use of quotation marks. The content creator passes it of as his or her own work. The content creator passes it of as his or her own work. This is complete plagiarism.

B.Self or author plagiarism
This can be also known as duplication, it happens when a content creator takes important parts of his or her previously published work without referral. This type mostly involves published researchers.

C. Mosaic plagiarism
This is when a content creator inserts someone else’s phrases in his work as his own research. This type of plagiarism is not easily detected because the thief only takes part of the work very cleaverly.

D. Accidental plagiarism
plagiarism is not always intentional, but still there is not an excuse for stealing someone's work. An author can accidentallyly plagiarize someone's content without having an idea that he has done it.

E.Complete plagiarism
Complete plagiarism is the most severe form of plagiarism. This occurs when an author takes the work of another author. This occurs when a content creator takes the work of another content creator and publish it as his work. This type of plagiarism can be considered to be theft and it is a serious form of crime

Causes of plagiarism?

Firstly Content creators who plagiarize mostly lack the skill to make their own quality content.
Authors spend a lot of individual effort when making their content because they want the content to be of value when it goes out into the public.

Secondly, people who plagiarize want to steal an author’s content because it has made lots of profit.
When an author creates a content that has made lots of profit the one who steals it then realizes that he can make profit from it.

How To Avoid Plagiarism

When you use another author’s work you have to credit the author.
Always cite the source you have taken the content from.

This are the little bits I think we should all know about plagiarism on steemit.

Remarks

I have read and understood the steemit etiquette on steemit community and will do my best to embrace them at the end of this task post.
