What's up everyone?How are you all steamers doing today?Hope you guys are doing great.
Today i am here to talk about all the uses of steam keys which i guess was all given to us in the form of PDF doing our account creation and also there uses.

QUESTION 1.have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
Yes, i have retrieved them all.

QUESTION 2.Do you have each of these keys functions and restrictions?
Yes,there are four different types of keys and i also do know functions and restrictions too.The four different types of keys are;
a)Active key
b)posting key
c)owners key and
d)memo key.

a)ACTIVE KEY:
This is a very sensitive key which is used for monetry activities which include exchange of tokens and transferring of tokens as well.
if there is an external invading or access to this type of key by scammers can be used by them to take away tokens so it is very important that you protect this key very much.
FUNCTIONS OF THE KEY:
*it is used to power up and power down steem
*it is used to vote for witnesses
*it is used to place an order on an exchange
*it is used to publish a witness price feed
*it is used to create a new user

b)POSTING KEY:This type of key is used for posting,editing,commenting,following and muting other accounts.
This key does not allow the loss of the users money because it does not have any monetary activities but is very important to also keep it safe.
FUNCTIONS OF THE KEY:
*it is used for editing post
*it is used for muting accounts
*it is used for voting
*it is used for following accounts

c)OWNER KEY:This type of key is capable of retrieving or recovering other lost keys.This is actually the most important key and should be kept safely online or on a printed paper.
FUNCTIONS OF OWNER KEY:
*it is used for retrieving other lost keys
*it is used to change any key of an account
*it is used to reset other keys

d)MEMO KEY:This type of key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos or written text doing fund transfer.it can be utilized by using the pound /# sign before it .
FUNCTIONS OF MEMO:
*it is used for viewing encrypted messages
*it is used for sending encrypted messages
*it is used for decrypting messages

QUESTION 3:How do i plan to keep my master password:
i have copied the PDF on my computer and also printed out a copy and kept them all safely.

QUESTION 4:DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEAM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEAM USER ACCOUNT?
yes it can be done using the active key

Below is the screenshot of how to transfer fund to another account.

How i did that was i First logged into my wallet and clicked on the steam dollar drop down arrow(menu), then i clicked on transfer and then input the username of the account i want to transfer to. Lastly you can create a memo(an encrypted text) from there and submit and also confirm using your active key.

QUESTION 5:DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?
yes i can be able to power up my steem.

How i did that was i First logged into my wallet and clicked on the steem drop down arrow(menu), then i clicked on power up,lastly i added my username and amount of steem i want to power up then clicked on power up.
