Good evening my steemmate it gladdens my heart to be at this stage of newcomers' community, I am here to with my achievement 3 task as demanded by this wonderful platform, may name is Allison Funmilayo and @funmith by username, reading through the lecture of this achievement 3 has really added to my experience here on steemit, though am still new and learning but I am happy am part of steemit family and this community.

What is plagiarism?
I see plagiarism as a dubious attitude of presenting someone else post, content, work, picture, or art as our own.
It can also be referred to as the act of stealing other people idea with the purpose of getting reward from it.
The STEEMIT platform generally kick against this type of behavior. STEEMIT want all it's content to be original and reward individual according to their brain.

CONTENT CITATION
This is that act of making reference to all other people's work used inside your work. It help to show other people's work in your work in a more acceptable way
Below is citation of a definition of plagiarism online.

"to steal and pass off ideas or words of another as one’s own”. Simply put, plagiarism is the process of taking other people’s words and/or ideas and pretending that they are your own.

some content might need us to bringing another person's definition, if doing this, there should be reference to the original source from which the content was extracted from, just as the definition above and the picture below.

Giving reference to copied content and picture will not only give reference to where the where the content came from but also give honour to the content owner. If we follow this rules, our content will not be Flagg for plagiarism.
