Definition of Basic security in steemit

Basic security in steemit are those keys that will help a member of steemit to protect their coins wallet from other members access and to keep it safe from fraudsters.

Have you retrieve all your keys?
Yes I have retrieve all the keys and the names are:
Posting key
Owner key
Memo key
Master key and
Active key

Did you know the function of the keys?
Yes I know the function of the keys

• POSTING KEY: this key is used to log in to steemit platform and perform action such as posting, commenting and voting of other steemit members post.

• OWNER KEY: This key is used to reset all other keys incase other key get miss.
  It is advice to keep it offline or online ,another offline method is for you write it down or you photocopy it and keep it safe so that your steemit account will get back to you.

• MEMO KEY: this key is used for decryption of private transfer for a example, if a steemit member transfer money from your wallet without your concern with the help of memo key you can stop the transfer. And is also used to transfer fund to another person account

• MASTER KEY: As the name implies ,master key is the father of all key, it is used to generate the account document and it is the owner of the account.

• Active Key: This key is used for monetary and wallet related actions such as transferring token or powering up steem or powering down steem.

How do you plan to keep your master key safe?
There are alot of ways that I plan keeping my master password safe , example of those method are:
Writing down
Photocopy
Online cloud saving
And alot more

Did you know how to transfer your steem token to another wallet?

Yes I know how to transfer it by Login with the account name which has steems, use the active key as password.

Click your avatar, then "wallet" menu, in the "wallet" page, click the triangle on the right of the numbers, then click "transfer". Then insert the amount of steem you want to transfer then you put your active key for the transaction process.

Did you know how to power up your steem

Yes, all you need to do is to
1: Go to your wallet

2:Find your steem token and click on the small triangle and click on power up

3:Select the amount you want to power up

4: Then click power up for it to power your steem up

CONCLUSION

I have learn alot about this great achievement on how to safe my coins and how to protect my key, once again I love this great platform called steemit.
