I understand plagiarism to be the stealing of someone or an author's ideas, handwork, effort, and information to replace yours or publish it without giving the owner the proper respect for his work and idea, all this is said to be plagiarism.

Type of plagiarism

👉Verbatim Plagiarism
This is a form of copy and paste,it is done when someone directly copies and pastes the documents writing by someone else without the knowledge of the owner this type of plagiarism is said to be verbatim plagiarism.

👉Mosaic Plagiarism
, This happens when one uses some words or phrases from a written document whether hard copy or soft copy, without giving credit to the main author of that content, this is considered as Mosaic plagiarism.
Self plagiarism
Self plagiarism is the act of rewriting or copying your previous work, or parts of
the previouss works, without permission from the leaders involved, this is type of plagiarism is refered to as self-plagiarism.
👉 Global plagiarism
This type of plagiarism is also known as a word to word plagiarism. this usually happen when someone takes another person's work without giving credit to the author and his or her site.

Citation
Citation is the way to show my readers that a material in my work is from different source. It provides my readers the information crucial to find the area details of that source on the reference.

We cite sources to give credit to the source authors.
