UNDERSTANDING HOW TO APPLYING MARKDOWN

Hello friends, season greetings to you. Today I am here to discuss my achievement 4 task with you after finishing my achievement 3 task I was asked by @ngoenyi to proceed to Achievement 4. In this task I will be discussing on how we can use Markdown tools. Let's get started below.

What is Markdown?

Markdown is known as a syntax text that is use by content creators for styling, and presenting of their write up in the way that will suit readers when they're reading the contents online. Markdown involves the use of text formatting like making text bold, italic,center text, adding of image, text alignment on either left or right hand side and also creating of table. Markdown is very useful as is make our text to be more presentable on the web, so now let's take a look at how we can apply markdown on our text below.

Applying Markdown

If you want to make your word bold this how you are going to do it ** bold ** result bold on your write up make the two closer to the word.

For italic word this is how you can apply it * italic * result italic

Let's start by applying markdown

This is how to apply a ** bold **
bold

This is how to apply an * Italic *
Italic

Now for heading you can apply heading using # tag which you can see from the example below.

#Heading 1
##Heading 2
###Heading 3
####Heading 4
#####Heading 5

Once you have start your heading with a # and space your text the results will be shown below.

How to create a table using markdown

You can create table with markdown by applying the creation of your table using this method:

Table 1	Table 2
Cell 1	Cell 2

After applying your table as shown above your results will be as shown below.
