Meaning of Plagarism?
a) Plagarism means to steal and copy the ideas or words of another thereby making those words as your own.
b) it means to copy another one work, image etc without giving credit to the
source
c) it means to present as new and original idea, product that was gotten from a particular source
In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both copying and stealing another person work and lying about it by not giving credit to the original owner.
Causes of plagiarism
plagiarism can be caused by lacking the words to write about a particular topic; this leads a person to go on the internet and copy another person work.
plagiarism can also be caused by inadequate or insufficient knowledge about a particular subject matter.
Measures on how to avoid plagiarism
Always cite the source in which you get a particular information from about a subject matter, this help to give credit to the original owner.
