Substance abuse:
Substance abuse could be an act of using/managing any substance wrongly,
excessively, inappropriately, abnormally, unquantifiably, carelessly, unlawfully, and most paramount of it all here harm-fully.
Substance such as:
Drug,
Food, Meat, Child,Sex, Self etc are commonly abused today in our contemporary world.
Drugs are of two classes viz:

| Meth etc. | Seconal etc. |
Intake of illegal or illicit drugs means taking government unauthorised drugs and the attempt or successful intake of them is direct abuse already.
Legal drugs are government authorised drugs but taking them unprescribed or not according to the doctor's directive with regards to time and quantity is also an abuse of drugs. In fact any form of self medication is drug abuse.
Food/meat
Excessive intake of food/meat is also an abuse. You don't need a medical experts to tell you that it's harmful to the body systems or untimely intake of food/meat such that one eats everytime he has an access to food or meat is an abuse and unhealthy. According to an experts, such person is over labouring his digestive system.
Child
Child abuse ranges from assigning a heavy task to the child, beating them excessively, touching their sexual responsive body part, starving them, and mutilation of any type etc are all inclusive in response to child abuse.|Sex abuse
Sex abuse
includes rape, harmful armoureous playing, sexual comments and statements considered to be rude for instance naming or calling the next person sexual sensitive body part is an abuse of sex, looking at an underage sexually is sex abuse, sending an underage maid/maidens on errand naked is sex abuse, gender discrimination and many more are all forms of sex abuse.
Self abuse
Self abuse involved any action performed on oneself that is harmful or unhealthy by yourself is Self abuse. Eg. Self medication, skipping treatment when unwell, over/under feeding, larcerating your swollen body part by your self, etc are all forms of self abuse.
Conclusion
Substance abuse is the wrong use or management of any substance which the resultant effect could be harmful or deadly.
Advice
Stop any form of substance abuse. It is dangerous.
