Master key
The initial key used to generate all the other keys we need to manage our account. This is the most important of all because if someone were to get access to it they could steal your account and everything you have in it.

Owner key:
It allows you to reset the rest of our keys. Therefore, it is not advisable to use it unless the account is in danger.

Publication key:
The most used because it allows us to log in to steemit and perform actions such as publishing, commenting, voting and doing resteem.

Activation key:
This allows us to perform more delicate actions such as those of a monetary nature, allows us to transfer funds, power up, power down, convert Steem Dollars, give orders in the market, update and / or change our profile picture.

Key memo:
It is used to encrypt and decrypt memos when making a transfer of funds. Important fact: to encrypt a memo we must place the numeral before #

How do you plan to keep your master key safe?

Now if we are talking about security we must know how to keep it safe from any setback. Personally I recommend that if you are just as forgetful that I do not keep it externally (paper or pendrive, I lost count of how many keys I lost in this way) is why I recommend the same thing I did. First, saving the key in two different places for greater security, if you have your own laptop that no one outside your trust can use would be perfect, it can be your first option and the other is to save the key in your email or in a drive to which only you have access.

Do you know how to transfer your Steem tokens to another Steem user?

(01) we go to our profile and press the wallet, after that log in to your wallet, using your username and activation key. It would have to appear to them as seen in the image below.

(02) we are working with steem so we select the date we have right next to it and press "transfer" as shown in the image below.

(03) after selecting "transfer" a window should appear where you must fill in what each box indicates.
