I am extremely happy to be writing again on this platform today i all be taking you on basic security of the steemit platform as a newbie in this amazing platform, am putting my possible best to able to complete my achievement posts that's are supposed to be done. I was told by @lawrence03, the person who introduced me to steemit, that I have to run my achievement 2. He told me is all about security and put me through on some of the things need to be written about in basic steemit security. So I was advise to take my achievement posts very serious.

HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS ASKED IN THIS PLATFORM

Question (1):

HAVE YOU BEEN ABLE TO RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ?

Ans: Yes I have done that, they can be accessed by signing in to your "steemit wallet".

When you click on it, a page where you'll be asked to put your username and password appears, after putting them, then tap the "login" below it.

You will then be redirected to your steemit wallet page. There you will see "keys and permission", feel free to click on it and you will get the keys. Below is a picture of it.

Question (2):

DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THOSE KEYS FUNCTIONS AND THERE RESTRICTIONS?

Ans: Yes of course, I do.
Below are the functions and restrictions of the various key.

POSTING KEY

Function: it is a social-networking key. Hence,
• it allows you to publish a post and even to comment on other people's post.
• It allows you to upvote or downvote.
• It grants you the permission to follow people, mute account, resteem content and so on.
• It also allow you to edit or comment on people's vote.

Restrictions: It cannot be used for monetary actions. Meaning if by mistake someone accessed it, your money can't be lost.

You can also use this key to log in to other Steem-powered social networks like Steemit, Busy and eSteem. So it's good to keep it safe.

ACTIVE KEY

Functions: these are money-related action keys, so unlike the post key, active keys deals with money. You should save it the more so as to avoid loss. It functions include;
• Transferring of tokens
• Conversion of SBD
• Vote for witnesses
• You can also use it to place an order on exchange

Restrictions: You can't use it to post, comment or upvote/downvote.

OWNER KEY

The owner key is the most important of all keys. So should be kept very safe. You can use it to retrieve stolen account. You can also use it to reset other keys.
It is restricted from doing other key jobs.

MEMO KEY

It can be used to send an encrypted message and also view an encrypted message. It's task is less than others.
It can't perform the work of the other keys.

PUBLIC KEY
Public keys are linked with usernames and can be used to look up associated transactions on the blockchain. The public keys are not required for login on Steemit.com. Public keys don't need to be stored safe like others because is less important.

Question (3):

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?

Ans: My master password is over secured because I've saved in my PDF reader. It's also in my document store.
It's secured tightly in my mailbox also. So am not worried on that topic.

Question (4):

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEMIT ACCOUNT ?

Ans: Yes I do.
The steps are as follows;

Go to your profile and click wallet

After signing in, these page shows off

Click on the identified steem balance there and an option rolls down. Below is a sample of it,

Then click on "Transfer"

After that, a page where you will be asked to complete the transaction form comes out. This is an example,

When you are done, then click next.

Question (5):

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?

Ans: Yes I do.
Here is the process, firstly, follow the step you took when trying to transfer. But this time around, after signing in your wallet and click the steem balance, the down option rolls downward, then you click the "Power up" indicated there. You can see an example below,
