Hello everyone in our great steemit community, I come to share my second achievement #Achievement2. Which aims to let us know about how important the security of our account is because if we lose our keys we could no longer recover our account and that would be a great loss for us, so it is better to make sure and make good decisions.

Yes, I have received all my keys and saved them on several devices so as not to lose them with due security.

Do you know what functions Steemit keys have?

If Steemit assigns us a series of passwords or keys to be able to enter correctly to its platform, these keys have specific and individual functions. I will explain them below.

POST KEY:
ACTIVATION KEY:
OWNER KEY:
MEMO KEY:

POST KEY:
It is used to log in daily, post, vote or comment. The longer you use it when entering, the more compromised the security of your account will be so be very aware of which computer you log in.

ACTIVATION KEY:
This is one of the most delicate keys since with this you can make power up transfers, turn on and off the steems, update our profile and convert the steem dollars.

OWNER KEY:
It is only used to recover a compromised account is one of the most powerful keys so it must be stored in an offline place since it is mainly used to change any account key.

MEMO KEY:
We use it to encrypt and decrypt memos when transferring funds.

Yes, I was still practicing it before making my achievement #2 to be able to show them in a better way.

Step 1

We must enter https://steemitwallet.com/ to log in to our wallet. We click on the login button and it shows us a screen to place our data as steemit username and to place our post key.

Step 2

Then we click on the button where it says Steem so that a window is displayed where the transfer option will appear.

Step 3

A window will appear to select the balance to be transferred and the person to whom the funds will go.

Step 4

To finish the first tab takes us to verify that all the data is fine, select the OK button and then open the last tab where we will copy our active key to perform the operation.

Yes, but I also had to practice it so I could have a clear vision of how to do it.

Step 1

While still in our wallet we go back to the steem option where we will see the drop-down menu again and select the power up or power option.

Step 2

A menu will appear with the option to select the balance which we are going to turn on and click on power up.

Step 3

A window will appear to confirm our correct balance option (do not forget to always confirm), then click on OK so that the last tab is displayed to place our active key and perform the power up operation.
