Achievement 4: Applying Markdowns
Good day everyone, it feels good to me hoping unto this Achievement and using this post to show you guys some really nice Markdowns you can apply to your write ups and also a great opportunity to enlighten you guys on the basic knowledge of some of the classes of food and their functions in the human body.
Classes Of Food
As we all might have known, there are basically 6 classes of food which are essential to keep our bodies in good condition and in perfect shape if eaten in the right proportion. These are:-
- Carbohydrates
- Proteins
- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Fats and oil and
- Water
Class Of Food | Functions |
---|---|
Carbohydrates | They are also called The Energy Giving Food. As their name implies, they supply energy to the the body and if consumed in the right proportion. Example are: rice, noodles, yam etc. |
Proteins | They're also called body building foods. They are also necessary for the repair and replacement of worn out tissues and help in the proper building of the body. Some examples of proteins are eggs, beans, milk etc. |
Vegetables | These are the classes of food that supply blood to the body and one nice benefit of this class of food is that it has no overdose. Examples of Vegetables are lettuce, cabbage, onions, tomatoes etc. |
Fruits | The class of food that provides protects one against diseases, clears the eyes and provide strong bones as in the case of infants. Examples are oranges, bananas, apples, pear etc. |
Fats and oil | These are the classes of food that provides and stores energy in the body and aids in the absorption and transportation of vitamins and minerals throughout the body. |
Water | They aid the proper digestion of food and aid the transportation and metabolism of solid food particles into solutes for cell absorption. Water is also as important as any other class of food as the life of all living things depend on it. |
These Classes Of Food listed above are the sum total of what virtually all human beings consume on daily basis and any irrational or uncontrolled intake of any of these has some consequences such as;
-Obesity for excessive carbohydrates.
-Indigestion for lack of water, fruits and vegetables.
-Disease intrusion for lack of vitamins and
-Dehydration for lack of water.
