Making use of Markdown when writing a post is a way I can add beauty to get the attention of my readers to read the post and be interested in reading to the end.

The use of Markdown in a post makes the work neat and presentable, easy to read.
Let's take a look at the meaning of Markdown.

WHAT IS MARKDOWN STYLING?

Markdown is a way of formating a document for easy comprehension. The use of markdown makes the post attractive to the reader.
The writer can control the display of the documents.
Reading a post can be discouraging without some form of style.

Here are some basic markdown styles.

• Heading

• Bold

• Italics

• Create a Table

• Text Alignment

• Number Lists

• Colour Text

• Centre Text

• Centre Heading

• Bullet Points

• Blockquote

• Subscript and Superscripts

Headlines

In writing headlines are very important. Making use of headlines in a post will help the reader to know the key points in post.
To make a headline, add 'hash' and space then write your heading. When writing the second subheading, add 2hash and space it will be smaller. The subheading gets smaller by adding more hash and space.

First Headline

Second headline

Third headline

Bold

You can use this markdown style to highlight a point in a post.

For example:

**What Is Important To You**= What Is Important To You

Italics

Italics are used for emphasis on a post. It is also used to denote titles, places or names to make outstanding.
To Chang a text to italics type asterisk before and after each text.

For example:

*What We Know About Life* = What We Know About Life

Create Tables

To create a table type heading and divide it with a pipe from the second heading out Dash's and divide with a pipe. Type the cell content and divide them with cells.

For example:

Name	Student	Date Admitted*
John	Registrar	04/05/2021
Glory	Bursar	1706/2021

Text Alignment

To align text in two cells means to type in two different columns.

Adding Links

To use a link I just need to include the '@' symbol then use my username in Steemit, this will automatically make my username a link that is recognized with just a click.

For example:

(https://steemit.com/@chizomamc)

In conclusion having applied these few examples of mine in markdown styles in this achievement 4 I will like to rest my case here till I see you all again in my next tack.
