Hello, I’m back again the 2nd Task in achievement 5. I’m so glad I’ve come this far. I read a review by @yohan2on and I’ve learnt alot from Steemscan and how it enables us the users with the ability to exchange our currency into fiat currency and also how the Steemscan tool can be easily operated.

What is Steemscan?

It’s defined as an exchange tool for changing steem into different cryptocurrencies which are also built unto a blockchain . Steemscan can be used to convert steem into different cryptocurrencies like Tron (TRX), BTC etc . This exchange tool was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich .

FEATURES ON STEEMSCAN

As soon as I visited the website, I saw a homepage just like the one below . This homepage has search toolbar where you’ll find features for accounts, witnesses, transactions etc

Now, to explore the various features you’ll have to tap on the menu option. After that you’ll see a drop down menu with all its features. These features include; Home, Witnesses, DApps, Dev tools, Quick Convert, Search and Steem engine. This is seen in the image below:

NOTE: To switch to any other currency for comparison purposes (with steem) all you have to do is that on the “$” (dollar sign) located at the side of the homepage.

WITNESSES FEATURE

This allows the user in question to vote a witness simply by just clicking on the “witnesses” icon on the menu. After this has been done, a list of witnesses would appear after which you can vote.

DApps FEATURE

This feature displays various “DApps” that can easily be accessed and used by others. Examples are; SteemHunt, DTube, TravelFeed etc.

QUICK CONVERT

Quick convert allows us steem to other cryptocurrencies . For this to be done you’ll need to follow a series of steps. The steps include;

STEP 1:
Click on the “quick convert” button.

STEP 2:
Enter the amount of steem you wish to exchange with any other the three currencies shown ( here its USDT).

STEP 3:
Choose your wallet for receiving the specified crypto and create an order.

STEP 4:
Insert your active key in the pop up notification to confirm the transaction in order to complete it.

STEP 5:
After step 4 has been completed, the necessary fees and deductions would be made.

LATEST PRICE AND VOLUME OF STEEM

The below would show the price of steem/usd currently which is $0.50.

In conclusion, I’m so happy I’ve finished this task. I’m looking forward to completing the next one.
